Les Arcs first opened in 1968 and has seen continued development most noticably in
2004 when it linked up with La Plagne to create Paradiski. It it also the home to the first major Intrawest development in The Alps, Les Arcs 1950.

Les Arcs is made up of 6 separate villages: Arc 1600, Arc 1800, Arc 1950, Arc 2000, Villaroger and Peisey-Vallandry.
