The Saas and Zermatt valleys have the greatest concentration of 4000m peaks in the Alps. For this reason we base our course in Saas Grund which allows easy access to both areas. During the course we aim to bag as many peaks as possible so the emphasis is on climbing rather than instruction. All the classic 4000m peaks on this course are non technical but you do need some previous experience in mountaineering which can be gained on our Alpine Essentials course.
